About
UFM (Universidad Francisco Marroquín) one of Guatemala’s leading educational institutions, sought a complete redesign of its students portal app. The previous version lacked visual appeal and had a poor user experience, prompting the need for a significant update.

Functionalities
Students needed an app to easily submit assignments, check grades, pay university fees, place academic events reservations and handle other important tasks.
Development
I developed a design system, a set of wireframes and prototyped components, using red as the primary brand color based on the institution's palette. That way, atomic design was applied in every phase of the process.
Extra assets
Part of this practical process included designing the app’s interface and its hero page making a website to promote the new app to their students.
